To get started quickly with HumorQ you need to register first. A User Name, a email address and a password is all youll need. Once you open and click your verification email, you are ready to get started being funny. Heres how HumorQ works ...

When you first sign in you will see todays cartoon and a button inviting you to play today. Youll also see "My Scores" and contest information. Check out all the options in your menu. If you choose the button to "Play HumorQ", you will be shown the cartoon from yesterday and you will be able to scroll through a list of five captions below it. Select the caption that you think will end up the most popular of that list. If you select correctly you will get bonus points later on. Once youve selected, choose "Next". That will bring you to the 2nd set of choices from 2 days ago, so again choose a caption and click "Next". Do this a 3rd time and youll be brought to todays cartoon with a box for you to provide your caption. (Please be somewhat tasteful as HumorQ reserves the right to remove any caption that we deem to be in bad taste.) Youre done for today! Come back tomorrow and everyday and watch your score change. Your first HumorQ will be established four days after your first play.
